Job Overview: As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial activities of our agricultural input business, including sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products and services meet customer needs while aligning with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agricultural input sector, focusing on both existing and emerging markets.
  • Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, and lead a team of sales representatives to achieve their goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and use this knowledge to inform commercial decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets for the commercial department, and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in a commercial or sales role within the agricultural input industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of agricultural products and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
